Pastor James Kinman has been in the ministry since 1971. He graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. He has a Master's of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
He has served as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Eustace, Texas, Oates Drive Baptist Church of Mesquite, Texas, and Almeda Baptist Church of Houston, Texas. He came to Central Baptist Church in September of 2004. He and his wife Barbara grew up in Greenville, Mississippi. They were married on July 30, 1966. Their daughter, Carolyn and Husband Jeff Elmore live in Alvin, Texas. They have two grand daughters: Anna and Aubrey.
The Pastor is one of God's gifts to the church to equip the members of the church to do work of ministry Ephesians 4:21. The pastor's primary responsibilities are teaching and preaching God's word, modeling servant hood that honors Christ, and minister to the needs of His people. His philosophy of ministry is to invest his life in the life of others and lead the church in fulfilling the mission given to the church by Christ in Matthew 28:18-20.
My name is Skipper Schexsnayder. I am Minister of Music and Education here at Central Baptist Church. I graduated from East Texas Baptist College and I have done graduate studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. My wife, Leah, and I have two boys, James and Robert.

Jason Shirley has been a Youth Minister since 1991, and is a current student of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as Youth Pastor of Dogwood Hills Baptist Church in Woodville, Texas and Bethel Baptist Church in Liberty, Mississippi. He has been at Central Baptist since February 2006. Both Jason and his wife Angela where raised in Woodville, Texas and married on September 6, 1997. They have three daughters: Shelby, Carsyn, and Emma.
